University Recreation is committed to helping your student enjoy time away from their studies and work.

At Urec, our diverse, fun and safe programs encourage healthy lifestyles, offer personal development opportunities and build campus community through participation. Our goal is to create a continually evolving and growing culture of engagement, inclusivity and diversity for your student.

Stout Adventures has rental equipment for summer activities, like bikes, canoes and camping gear. The climbing wall and challenge course are great for stress relief and team building. Your student can find our trips, clinics and special events on CONNECT.

The Health and Fitness Center in the lower level of the Sports Complex has cardio machines, free weights, weight machines, special events and group fitness classes.

Starting May 10, your student may purchase a monthly fitness and climbing wall membership to use the facilities. They can schedule their activity times through LibCal.

The Fitness Center's summer hours begin on Monday, May 10, and Stout Adventures and the Multipurpose Room on Saturday, May 15.

Urec also offers student employment. If your student is interested in helping others with their health and fitness, intramural sports, Stout Adventures, marketing or building management, then our Urec team could be a great fit for them. Encourage them to check us out.
