UW-Stout students from the School of Art and Design who are graduating Saturday, Dec. 15, will be part of another special event Friday, Dec. 14.

From 6 to 9 p.m., graduating seniors will present their capstone projects at the biannual Senior Show on the first and second floors of the Applied Arts Building.

Projects in various art and design disciplines will be on display, such as graphic, game, interior, industrial and entertainment, along with studio art that includes sculpture, metals, painting and printmaking.

For example, interior design students will have lights they’ve created. Industrial design students will have new product concepts. Entertainment design students will have films and comics they’ve made.

In addition, the end of year juried student art show will be on display in Furlong Gallery. Design shows featuring furniture, canoe paddles and pop-up campers will be on display.

The School of Art and Design, the largest in the UW System, offers six undergraduate majors and a Master of Fine Arts in design.
