Your minor in Business Information Technology (formerly Enterprise Technology) will prepare you to be a business professional in the design and use of data organization, storage, and analysis tools. Business information technologies are ‘umbrella systems’ that are interconnected through the use of a computing network. Examples include Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and Management Information Systems (MIS).

Business Information Technology focuses on the integration of information and communication technologies that ensures information sharing across all business functions and all levels of management to support the running and managing of a business. Business information technologies supports business processes through the use of big data and business intelligence.

 

To declare a minor, complete the "Applying for a Minor" survey online, and you will be given further instructions. Once this has been processed you will receive an email confirmation from the Advisement Center.
