F-1 students are allowed to work up to 20 hours per week while school is in session. Full time (40 hours per week) employment is possible during holidays and vacation periods (including summer) if the student is eligible and intends to register for the next school term. While there are many opportunities across campus to gain student employment, Dining Services is one of the major employers on campus and has a lot of opportunities for you!
New degree-seeking students are eligible to apply for on-campus employment following admission. Students who apply for on-campus employment within 48-hours of their acceptance can have on-campus employment indicated on their I-20.
